Artist's Profile - Jennifer L Clark

I am a Brisbane based artist with a background in commercial design having for over ten years designed, manufactured and sold jigsaw puzzles through my own company.  Upon closing this business in 1998, I decided to focus on improving and expanding my artistic skills.  In order to achieve this I commenced classes with Jennifer Andrews at Brizart, which I continue as an advanced member of the Studio Group to this day.  I am also a classroom assistant at Brizart.

I work with a variety of media, with a focus on rhythm, movement and vibrancy of colour.  My work reflects my background with an emphasis on design and the decorative in art and this is particularly evident in my current urban and dreamscape themed paintings.

In 2009 myself, Tracey Marning-Studin and Kylie Gilling formed Serendipity Artist Group which last year alone has had exhibitions at Gympie Regional Gallery, Pine Rivers Regional Gallery and Percolator Gallery in Paddington.
